  • These application instructions can apply to long term details if the responder's home unit wants to retain responder record access in IQCS but temporarily change the dispatch organization. For example, a USFS responder from Malheur National Forest (OR-MAF) is detailing to George Washington & Jefferson National Forests (VA-VAF) for a greater than 30-day detail.

  • Data from personnel who have been tracked by a State's Incident Qualification System (IQS) can be imported directly into the IQCS application. In order to import the responders IQS record into IQCS, the account manager must request and be provided the encrypted XML IQS transfer file from the respective IQS state manager.

  • A responder's IQCS record can be exported and provided to an Incident Qualification System (IQS) manager for upload to the IQS application when the individual transfer to an organization utilizing IQS for qualification management. Only IQCS responder records in an inactive or archive status can be exportedRecords that are being managed by an agency CAN NOT be exported and thus not available in the export lookup.
