Department of the Interior (DOI) Employee Common Identifier (ECI) Field Added to IQCS
A project to add the DOI Employee Common Identifier (ECI) to a DOI responder's IQCS record was implemented in IQCS late Tuesday, October 5, 2021. This business request will allow for the storage of the DOI ECI on a responder's Job Information tab (at the Job Data page) to utilize a common identifier to connect their qualification data to their personnel data in Federal Personnel Payroll System (FPPS) for national workforce development.

FS EmpowHR ID Field Moved to Job Information Tab
The USFS IQCS agency lead approved the moving of the FS EmpowHR ID field to the Job Information tab on the Job Data page. Previously this field was located on the Work Location tab. This was done to align programming with the DOI ECI project and allow for better enforcement of the USFS business requirements of entering a responder's FS EmpowHR ID.
