Per a Fall 2023 IQCS Change Management Board (IQCSCMB) meeting change request (CR) decision the business rule requiring the validation of responder experience for use in the incident qualification process has been removed. IQCSCMB is no longer is requiring user validation of experience and as result the application has been updated effective 12/13/2023.
Application Changes
- Experience by Responder page: removal of the Experience Verified column.
- Experience by Incident page: removal of the Experience Verified column.
- Qualification processing: removal of the application checking for validated experience for PTB expire date update, PTB evaluation experience and position currency date calculation.
- Responder Master Record (C028) report: removal of the Verified column from the Incident Experience section.
- Experience by Responder (C154) report: removal of the Verified column.
Application User Guide Changes
- User Guide Module 4: updated Experience By Responder (C154) section to remove verified from report content.
- User Guide Module 5: update Experience Records section to remove experience verified in the entering instructions.
- User Guide Module 9: updated IRWIN Imported Experience Records section. Remove Validation Process section.
Application Processing
The application will continue to query incidents records and responder experience records in IRWIN every 60 minutes. With this project there is no processing change to incident records.
New experience records will be pulled in and populated to a responder experience record and continue to be fully editable. Once an experience record has been pulled from IRWIN and populated to the responder's experience record, there will be no future changes/updates pulled from IRWIN on that specific experience record to ensure user changes do not get overridden.
Once a responder record is populated with their IRWIN experience record, that experience will automatically be used in their qualification process.
